Focus On Cenital #1 [CNTL009]

Cenital Music dresses up for its new compilation series, Focus On. On this, the #1, which has received the names that were previously published on the label and a series of new faces that have been able to pay attention here in the future. This compilation covers several styles and the producers that include it cover a few continents, allowing us to travel through styles and countries without needing to move from home or spend a lot of money on flights; within a selection in which we can find pearls of dub-techno, deep house, downtempo and even a successful mix of pop and disco.

Among the familiar faces we find a couple of regulars of the label, Manuel Costela and Hyman Bass, who deliver a couple of tracks that play Deep House in its silky side, with the right dynamics and energy to move any dance floor. Within that deeper facet we also find the Mexican Golden At Nite and the Greek-Spanish duo Fractalis, while the more prog/trance side of the house music is in charge of the Argentine Vanuan. If what we are looking for is techno, that’s also in the pharmacy, with an excellent track delivered by the Spanish Tecknoise, capo of the techno label Unclosed Records, and by the Russians Monotalk and Alexander S. Karlov. And if the roll is more experimental, we have Cireneo, who delivers his first official track to date, in which he mixes aptly downtempo rhythms with an IDM touch that promises many things and very good in the future, and the sound jewel of what Rinat KaaS offers us. And to finish the compilation we went to Taiwan, where the producer Walrussound 聲之聲 delivers a curious but effective mix of pop and disco to close the celebrations with good dances and a smile on the face.

Enjoy!

You can buy the release on Beatport and Juno, Traxsource or iTunes and listen on Spotify, Tidal or Deezer.
